Briana: Daughter of Dana & Brandi, Loves pink.

Grandma: Iancu's mother. She fed me, while Iancu & Mirela ere in Italy.

Grandpa: Iancu's father. He is the dearest chap!

Hank (See "Zach")

Iancu: My host father/brother. Age 28, speaks no English (but probably understands a lot more of it than I know...). He and his father (Grandpa) are a phenomenal pair and make me laugh, through the language barrier.

Julie: NWC Sophomore and Study-abroad compatriot. Delightful woman full of energy and enthusiasm. She walks faster than anyone else I've ever met and is a delight to spend time talking with...I am excited to live with her next week when we move to our apartments!

Kadie: New Horizons volunteer, Study-abroad Program administrator, apartment-mate of Alice. An incredible woman who cares deeply for her 5 kiddos, doesn't despise us for calling her "Capt'n Kadie", keeps our lives organized and has a deep, beautiful faith.

Kelly: Calvin College Junior and Study-abroad compatriot. Her host family lives just up the mountain from mine and we walk together. She is an amazingly inspirational person who I am so thankful to have the opportunity to get to know better on our stomps up and down the mountain!

Mirela: My host mother/sister. Age 24. Wonderful, sweet woman...very motherly. Very hospitable. Always trying to feed me.

Tad (See "Bryent")

Zach (Hank): NWC Sophomore and study-abroad compatriot. Zach is the comic relief of the bunch, tells fantastic stories and hits his head on things a lot (He's pretty tall by Romanian standards). He is a dear fellow and keeps up laughing, intentionally or otherwise
